Saadhu: (A Sadhu, Short Stories)

The short-story, is one of the most important literary subgenres in Urdu literature, despite its relative youth. This was influenced by western and literary concepts and tendencies, as well as the contemporary industrial and mechanized environment. G. A. Kulkarni's name is prominent in the literary world as an identity of Marathi fiction. He has introduced Marathi fiction to new dimensions in terms of subject, style and language. The basic style of his fiction is narrative and somewhat poetic. He has not left the realm of 'storytelling' while telling stories of social and human relationships. While reading his fiction, the reader gets lost in their magical atmosphere and remains restless to know what will happen next.
