Saint-Barthélemy Channel is a strait in the Caribbean Sea that separates the French overseas collectivity of Saint Barthélemy and the island of Saint Martin, which is divided between a separate French overseas collectivity and part of the Netherlands Antilles. The maritime boundary between Saint Bathélemy and the Netherlands Antilles runs through Saint-Barthélemy Channel. The Caribbean Sea is a sea of the Atlantic Ocean situated in the tropics of the Western hemisphere. It is bounded to the southwest by the Central American countries of Panama, to the west by Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico, to the north by The Greater Antilles (Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola, and Puerto Rico), and to the east by the Lesser Antilles.
