Saintsville

In Saintsville, the city the rest of the world calls New Orleans, death incarnate stalks those who don't officially exist. A storm witch summons a champion across the Veil to settle an old debt, and everyone gets more than they bargained for: a displaced warrior with a dead gangster's identity, a soul that runs darker than any coven-bound curse, and a war made in Hell.Taking the dead man's name, Ciro Case, the warrior navigates a contested world where witches wield life-changing power and Gray Houses prey on the mundane. Twill Parker, the Saintsville coven's Keeper for the deadly month of October, has lost everything, but not the war. Stripped of her team, she must rely on a knight she doesn't trust, can't fully explain, and can't afford to turn away. Two fractured souls and a city running out of nights. For readers of Jim Butcher, Richard Kadrey, and Kim Harrison.
