The Eddy Current is Schwalbe’s E-MTB specialist tire designed for All Mountain and Enduro riding. It excels in uphill climbs, aggressive acceleration and technical trails, with a robust look featuring stable blocks, increased rubber volume and wide widths for durability and grip. The motocross-inspired tread uses massive, stable central and shoulder studs to deliver reliable handling, while concise V-grooves in the center and side blocks provide direct steering response. The design is optimized for both front and rear use.

Front and rear behavior is tuned to enhance rider control: the front offers reliable cornering grip and high braking traction, transmitting steering corrections effectively through long grip edges. The rear delivers strong propulsion and braking traction, with large-volume center studs that transfer power efficiently to the ground, even on steep climbs. The tire is compatible with tubeless setups via Tubeless Easy, and available in an ADDIX Ultra Soft compound for demanding enduro and downhill riding. It also carries E-50 compatibility for E-bikes up to 50 km/h.
