Seeing is Believing

Some people you meet once. Some people, you're supposed to meet.Ten-year-old Jonathon has a Saturday ritual: candy from the corner store, chocolates for the dad who's been gone two years, and a walk home past the man everyone else calls a bum. Ragged clothes. Watchful eyes. Always near the candy store, never explaining why. When the tire glide at the playground breaks and sends Jonathon crashing to the ground, gasping for air, the stranger's hands settle on his shoulders - and the world disappears. In its place: memories that aren't his own. A stranger's pain, a stranger's mother, a stranger's whole hidden life, felt from the inside out. It's a gift the man has carried, and hidden, for longer than Jonathon has been alive. And it's about to unravel everything Jonathon's mother has spent two years trying to keep buried.SEEING IS BELIEVING is a short, emotionally charged novella about grief, forgiveness, and the people the world overlooks - the kind you can read in a single sitting and carry with you long after.
