This is a fantastic JLL tour de force, originally released in 1973 as a gatefold album. It harks back to his days on Sun, but also his early days on Mercury, as well as taking in newer trends. Thus you get several of Jerry's rock 'n' roll hits, plus his highly personal take on the brilliant Charlie Rich's No Headstone on My Grave, covers of such classics as Big Boss Man, Sea Cruise and Memphis, Tennessee, and great versions of Bad Moon Rising and Early Morning Rain - all done with aplomb and abandon. Jerry and all the (mainly British) musicians are at their best. If you miss this, you're really missing something.
