Shall the Sea Remember

On the distant world of Shoar, Jordan Blue is on the run from the tyrannical megacorporation, X-TRACT, with the aid of the mysterious, shape-shifting space mermaid, Kuvett. Between searching for sanctuary, a cure for her terminal illness, and attempting to discern Kuvett's true motives, her once quiet life as a mechanic seemed a quaint memory. Meanwhile, Violet Lehr, a courier for the underground unions' effort to expel X-TRACT from Shoar, works to uncover the plans of the pristine and clandestine Meritopolis city towering over the dilapidated Outskirts. Tensions are coming to a head. Pressure from off-world to export a rare and powerful resource, compressed hemoplasma, force X-TRACT to tighten their already ironclad grip on the planet, driving the local populace to revolt, fighting for their dignity and their lives. All the while, looming over the entire world, is Oshia, the ancient and gargantuan Cosmari Matriarch. Holding claim to the planet, Oshia desires X-TRACT's expulsion at any cost, even to the point of scouring the planet with flame.
