Shane: The Series

This is a reference book on the 1966 TV series Shane. The book includes all episodes in order of original air date transmission, complete cast listings, numerous photographs, directorial credits, and a story synopsis for each episode. Also included is the 1953 motion picture Shane.Shane was an American Western TV show which aired on ABC in 1966. It was based on the 1949 book of the same title as well as the 1953 film. David Carradine played the title character, a former gunfighter. He takes a job as a hired hand at the ranch of Marian Starett (Jill Ireland), a widowed woman, her son, and her father-in-law. Marian is a widow who lives with her father-in-law Tom played by Tom Tully, and Shane has lived with them for a while already when the story starts.
