Snocaps (CD)

Snocaps is the self-titled debut album by the band Snocaps, led by sisters Katie and Allison Crutchfield with collaborators MJ Lenderman and Brad Cook. It is an indie rock release characterized by warm guitars, emotionally direct songwriting and a blend of the Crutchfields’ earlier scrappy energy with more mature, reflective textures. Issued as an LP on coloured vinyl through the Anti- label, it presents a concise, carefully arranged set of songs that highlight tight band interplay and a balance between punchy rock dynamics and more contemplative moods. The album belongs firmly to the indie rock genre, with touches of alternative rock and Americana influence in its melodic sensibility and production choices. It is recognized as their debut full-length under the Snocaps name, arriving first digitally and then in physical form, including coloured vinyl editions that emphasize its collectible appeal for listeners and fans of modern indie records. Snocaps was released in 2025, with its LP version following as a coloured vinyl pressing, underscoring the project’s position in the current wave of guitar-driven indie music.
