Snow Days: 5

Avery's Everything Outdoors is hosting five one-time college roommates on their annual vacay, a New Years campout in the woods north of Owl's Nest, Maine. As the fireworks display ends, one of the men is found dead by the campfire, killed by the venom of a poison dart frog. One thing is sure: this was premeditated. Detective Sergeant Urban has Avery in his sights. What's the man's problem? She didn't know the deceased, had no motive. Why can't he see the murderer has to be one of the four men who knew, or feared, the victim the most? With her troublemaking, returned-from-the-dead ex-husband out of the way, her life should be smooth sailing. Another misconception in Avery Winston's life once they learn what prompted him to fake his death. Not everything is on the negative side though. Mia's t-shirt shop is moving toward its Grand Opening. Harper has fallen head-over-heels for the plumber. Murphy's found his favorite bone. And Avery...well, maybe her romance is finally moving ahead. Mack-what is his real name anyway-seems to be working through his baggage.
