The present thesis consists of four chapters, each addressing a specific dimension of the relationship between social change and Islamic Family Jurisprudence (Fiqh al-¿¿'il¿).Chapter I. The first chapter examines the principles and regulations governing changes in Shariah rulings in light of evolving circumstances and times. It elucidates the foundational principles formulated by Islamic jurisprudence for accommodating changes brought about by the transformation of time and circumstances, and identifies the conditions under which modification of a Shariah ruling is permissible.Chapter II: The second chapter identifies and analyses the factors that bring about changes in Shariah rulings, exploring both intrinsic and extrinsic causes that contribute to the evolution of legal rulings over time.Chapter III. The third chapter investigates the impact of social changes on issues of Family Jurisprudence. It specifically examines the effects of social transformations on marriage, the dissolution of marriage, and related matters in Islamic jurisprudence.Chapter IV. The final chapter offers a research-based examination of the objectives, principles, and contemporary tendencies.
