This book is the result of a study carried out with the aim of identifying the socio-environmental vulnerability of the municipalities that make up the Moxotó river basin (Pernambuco - Brazil). The Moxotó Basin is located in the semi-arid region of Pernambuco, one of the most vulnerable regions to poverty and environmental impacts in the state. In addition, the final result of this study is a methodological proposal for the construction of a socio-environmental vulnerability index that integrates physical, environmental, social and economic indicators, with the aim of identifying the municipalities most vulnerable to climate change.
