SOLAR COOLING: CASE STUDY

This book proposes a solar refrigeration system which uses a working pair Ammonia (NH3) and Water (H2O), therefore it is intended to design, develop and evaluate an efficient solar refrigeration system as a sustainable solution for the growing demand for solar refrigeration in places where there is no electricity supply, as a measure of conservation of medicines and food.In this book, a refrigeration system combining solar technologies and an Ammonia (NH3) and Water (H2O) absorption refrigeration system is proposed. In summary, this thesis contributes to the field of sustainable refrigeration by offering an innovative approach that harnesses solar energy to meet the cooling demand while reducing the carbon footprint. The results and conclusions of this work provide valuable information for cooling system designers, engineers and decision makers interested in promoting cleaner and more efficient technologies.
