some dreams must change: 4

A Jewish writer struggles to reconcile artistic ambition with emotional survival. By night, he works as a security guard; by day, he endures a marriage slowly collapsing under anger, disappointment, and cultural distance. His dream of becoming a successful writer remains unrealized, even as he obsessively records his life and the people around him, using writing as both escape and self-examination.Haunted by depression and loneliness, his fragile routine is disrupted when he meets a young woman who offers desire, attention, and the possibility of a different life. Torn between loyalty, temptation, and fear of moral failure, he is forced to confront his own faith and morals.Quiet, introspective, and emotionally raw, the novel explores love, identity, and the cost of postponing one's own happiness.
