Sophion, Uncle Humph and The Fourth Glimmering of Grace: 4

Sophion(TM), Uncle Humph(TM) and The Fourth Glimmering of GraceWhat happens when you have a beautiful dream-but not nearly enough of what you need to build it?Sophion(TM) the Eagle-Winged Unicorn and Uncle Humph(TM) have decided to build a music pavilion in the Kadayawan Valley-a place for stories, songs, feasts, and friends. There is only one problem. They have no lumber. No beams. No nails. No roof. And not much idea how to build what comes next.So they wait. Then, one morning, a wagon appears carrying lumber, tools, tea, and a magnificent eagle named Hiram(TM)-someone they have never met.Or perhaps they have.Because Hiram was a friend of Dave the Architect(TM), and Dave was their friend too. And sometimes the promises carried by friendship travel much farther than one lifetime.Soon the whole Valley is building together-not quickly, not perfectly, but together-until something beautiful stands where once there was only a wonderfully incomplete plan. The Fourth Glimmering of Grace is a gentle story about friendship, patience, community, generosity, and the surprising ways the kindness of one generation can become a gift to another. It reminds us that we do not always need everything before we begin-and that sometimes the help we need arrives through friends of friends we never expected to have.Like every book in The Mabuhay Stories(TM), this tale invites readers to read aloud, share the story together, and create their own lifelong illustrated edition.Because friendships nourish.Promises outlive generations.Faithfulness gives us wings. And sometimes old friends...show up carrying lumber.Mabuhay!
