Dormant Primordial Magick A Forest Under Threat A Bond Shattered by Tragedy, Reforged in Revenge All she craved was peace. But then, they came for her sanctuary. Loralei Blackravn is the last of her bloodline. In a kingdom starved of its magick, and a region still hurting from the loss of its life force, Lora exists as the sole steward of a forest once revered as sacred, cut off from the gift of divine wisdom and prophecy bestowed by the gods upon her raven ancestors.Lora has known hardship, heartbreak, loneliness, and grief, but she has always embraced any darkness or challenge the gods placed in her path and emerged strengthened, unbroken.Until him. He almost destroyed her. When catastrophic visions reveal her sanctuary succumbing to flame and axe, fate intervenes. Now, she needs him. But this forest raised a wild woman, and Lora has trained herself to need no-one, least of all Fenrys Stark. If they are to burn them to ash, that torch will be lit by her own hand. With magick all but a distant, forbidden memory, long vanquished and usurped by the rules and ambitions of powerful men and newer, shinier gods, Eldhavn continues to hum with the faintest presence of spirit. Its time has come, and fate will not be defied a second time. The old gods never abandoned Eldhavn. That magick was merely waiting. This ancient land will sing again.
