Space Cadet Legacy The 7 Second Signal: A Delta Directive Mission

A signal flickers into existence for exactly seven seconds-then vanishes. It appears again two days later. Same duration. Same precision. Same silence. When Earth's sensors detect the anomaly, it's quietly routed through the Delta Directive, a classified safeguard for threats that must be handled without attention, attribution, or delay. Richard and his cadet team are assigned their first Delta mission aboard Specter One, a stealth vessel designed for operations that officially do not exist. Their investigation reveals a cloaked courier ship, a coded transmission, and a criminal operation built on leverage rather than force. At the heart of the plot is Dax Timberly, an engineer whose small compromises have grown into dangerous coercion-putting his family, his work, and planetary security at risk. When Dax chooses to tell the truth, the cadets must decide what matters most: chasing a larger, unseen enemy or rescuing the man who tried to make things right.
