Spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is a serious neurovascular emergency, the prognosis of which depends on early and appropriate management. However, data regarding its epidemiological, clinical, and radiological characteristics, as well as management modalities, especially in the pre-hospital setting, remain limited or heterogeneous.This study aims to describe the epidemiological, clinical, and radiological characteristics of patients hospitalized for spontaneous SAH, and to analyze their pre-hospital and intra-hospital management modalities.A retrospective descriptive study conducted at the Habib Bourguiba University Hospital in Sfax and at SAMU 04, including all patients hospitalized for spontaneous SAH between January 1, 2022, and September 15, 2025 (n = 61). Demographic, clinical, radiological, therapeutic, and outcome data were collected and analyzed.The median age was 54 years, with a slight female predominance. The most common medical history included arterial hypertension (36%), dyslipidemia (26%), and diabetes (18%).
