Perfect for inflating tires up to 45psi with a single layer, and requiring double wrapping for higher pressure road tubeless tires. The innovative BST (Bead Socket Technology) profile, developed by Stan's NoTubes, revolutionized rim design and forms the foundation of most modern tubeless-ready wheels. Please note, Stan's Yellow Rim Tape alone does not convert traditional rims to tubeless; older rims need a Stan’s Rim Strip (now discontinued) for a secure, tubeless setup. While we recommend upgrading to a tubeless-ready wheelset, Stan’s Rim Strips and kits remain available at local bike shops for converting vintage or non-tubeless rims.
