Stan's Yellow Tubeless Rim Tape – Lightweight & Reliable Optimize your tubeless setup with Stan's Yellow Rim Tape, a lightweight tape weighing only 5g per rim. Designed specifically for tubeless-ready rims and wheels, this high-performance tape ensures a secure, airtight seal over spoke holes. For tires inflated to 45psi or less, a single layer of yellow tape is sufficient for most rims. For road tubeless tires requiring more than 45psi, a double wrap provides extra security. Based on Stan's innovative Bead Socket Technology (BST), this tape is compatible with the majority of modern tubeless-ready rims. Please note, Stan's Yellow Rim Tape is not a conversion kit for older, non-tubeless rims. For those, a Stan’s Rim Strip (discontinued) or a new tubeless-ready wheelset is recommended to ensure safety and performance. Using only yellow tape and sealant on non-tubeless rims can cause difficulties during inflation and lead to 'burping' issues while riding.
