Startrash: The Gilded Wastes

The Calamity is a ragtag group of mercenaries, operating from their patched-up freighter, the Muckraker. Led by Eight, a mysterious synthetic being, they include Nugget, an uplifted raccoon mechanic; Shin, a human with ties to Sol Sector's criminal families; Victor, a gunman and gambler; and Tulla, their sharp-tongued handler. The crew drifts through the Galactic Rim, chasing jobs for credits while navigating their own chaotic dynamics. Their latest contracts hint at a larger conspiracy involving the Eclipt Dominion, a fallen techno-religious empire. As they take on increasingly political assignments-such as escorting data from rebel enclaves and destroying old satellite networks-they notice a recurring logo: a broken halo. Tulla claims these are coincidences, but the crew suspects otherwise.
