Stellar Bike-Ability

Since the invention of the wheel, it''s been used to both help and hinder people with disabilities. The distant future is no different. These wide-ranging stories of pedalpowered alternate realities by disabled authors show people moving through the world, or other worlds, or space itself in ways both familiar and strange. They work, study, play, travel, fall in love, and navigate life changes. They do this by riding bikes, ebikes, trikes, adaptive bicycles, or not riding bikes at all even though everyone around them is. From dystopian near-futures to alien alternate realities, these ten inclusive, intersectional stories provide entertainment, representation, and perspectives on mobility that are refreshingly free of ableist tropes.
