Her Christmas holiday vacation was for research, not being mated with a gargoyle... In her typically impulsive style, Sage books a stay at a new gothic hotel for the week of Christmas. After breaking the news to her family, she sets off to get some inspiration for her new book. Then something unexpected happens during the planned tour of the beautiful hotel. A huge gargoyle grabs her attention and doesn't let go.Attracted to his magical pull, she does something that's strange even for her: she kisses him. She thinks nothing of it until the gargoyle appears on her balcony. Her mind swirls as he calls her his soulmate and pledges his undying commitment.
