STOP THE PRAYERS

STOP THE PRAYERS Why Modern Prayer Has Lost Its Power, and the Forgotten Foundation That Restores It "You have not been praying wrong because you lack faith. You have been praying wrong because you skipped the foundation." Book Two of the Repent series turns the diagnosis of The Poverty of the Mind directly onto the believer's prayer life. Prince Nnanna traces how modern prayer has been replaced by performance, industrialized into a marketplace of formulas, and severed from the one foundation that ever made it powerful: repentance. With forty chapters moving from diagnosis to restoration, Stop the Prayers confronts the prayer industry, the corruption of spiritual discernment, the difference between the prayers of the wicked and the prayer of the righteous, and the pattern of Jesus's own praying life. The author includes his own personal testimony in full - seasons of corrupted prayer, intercepted leading, and the Spirit's eventual correction - alongside composite illustrations drawn from churches, hostels, and households, each chapter closing with a Reflection & Response for personal or group study. This is not a book about praying harder. It is a book about praying from the only foundation prayer was ever meant to stand on.
