Storm Touched and Spirit Bound: Children of Sacrifice Part II

Children of Sacrifice takes readers on a journey of forbidden love, emotional redemption, and new-found belonging as they follow Olun and Didan deep into Darkness where restless spirits await and long forgotten secrets find lightEight months of living in the Ithoumi village tucked away in the mountains has done little to ease Olun's duty to her family suffering in the desert. No longer willing to die for her people, yet unwilling to embrace life until she has ended their suffering, Olun spends every spare moment from her apprenticeship seeking a cure for the Dry Sickness that plagues them. But with new abilities surfacing and increasing pressures from the Doyens for her to take the role of Elder, the last thing Olun needs is to dwell on Didan. Olun is sure she has no business feeling the way she does about him-especially since she's not even sure about herself: Is she Rohta or Ithoumi? Villain or Savior? Healer or Elder? When the most destructive storm in memory strikes the village, it opens old wounds and creates new ones; it brings death and oppressive spirits. It brings Didan. One thing is made clear: in order to fully embrace Life, Olun must accept Death.
