Strategies for revitalizing regional planning policies: the case of city Toliara Madagascar

In sum, this thesis highlights the challenges and opportunities associated with decentralization and local governance in Toliara. Local authorities, although faced with financial and management constraints, play a crucial role in regional planning. Regional integration is also essential for stimulating economic development, while at the same time posing challenges of equity. Finally, the strategies proposed for sustainable and inclusive development aim to ensure that Toliara's development is environmentally friendly and beneficial to all its inhabitants. This work underlines the importance of a holistic and collaborative approach to the implementation of planning policies, in order to meet the growing needs of the population and build a sustainable future for Toliara.
