Strengthening Individualised Support for Jobseekers Furthest from the Labour Market in Greece

Providing jobseekers furthest from the labour market with better opportunities to participate in employment is a key policy objective across OECD countries. This report, the twenty-first in the OECD's Connecting People with Jobs series, examines how digital tools and complementary services can improve the way the Greek Public Employment Service (DYPA) identifies needs, targets support and allocates resources to jobseekers who need more support to enter the labour market. Drawing on international experiences and rich linked administrative data from the unemployment and the employment registers, the report proposes practical options to strengthen the early identification of jobseekers furthest from the labour market and improve the effectiveness and individualisation of support.
