Stroked Out But Not Done: One Man’s Rebuild and the Stroke Recovery Blueprint That Refuses “Never

Impossible is just a word. On December 3, 2018, thirty-six-year-old Nicholas "Stroked-Out Sasquatch" Kremers suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke that doctors said would end the life he knew. They predicted permanent paralysis, lifelong cognitive deficits, and a future defined by limitations. They were wrong.Stroked Out But Not Done is the raw, unfiltered, seven-year rebuild of a man who refused every "never" handed to him. Part memoir, part recovery manual, and part battle cry, this book blends lived experience with practical protocols, emotional honesty, and the mindset work that rebuilt a life from the ground up.Inside these pages, you'll find: - A front-row seat to the ICU, the diaper, the depression, the identity collapse, and the exact moments the comeback began. - The drills, tools, and unconventional techniques that helped restore walking, speech, hand function, balance, and confidence. - The Sasquatch Doctrine - a survivor-built operating system for recovery, identity, and long-term transformation. - The 66-Day Rebuild, the 90-Day Breakthrough Program, and the daily protocols that drove progress in years four through seven. - Emotional warfare strategies for depression, isolation, grief, and the psychological rebuild every survivor must face. - Case studies from survivors across ages, backgrounds, and stroke types - proof that recovery continues far beyond year one. - Appendices covering emergency stroke recognition, exercise protocols, technology, nutrition, caregiver support, and clinician guidance. This book is not a clinical textbook. It is the manual survivors wish someone had handed them on Day 30 - honest, practical, and built for the real fight. It is also a resource for caregivers, clinicians, and anyone supporting a survivor through the long road home.Whether you are weeks, months, or years post-stroke, Stroked Out But Not Done shows what is possible when effort replaces limitation, identity is rebuilt with intention, and the nervous system is given the right signal for long enough.Heart's still thumpin'? Life's still pumpin'. Never zero. Never miss twice.
