Studies in Nigerian Peoples and Culture: Strategy for Sustainable Development

Ifeyinwa V. Awagu was the Director of the Institute of Humanities (IOH) at Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria, in an acting capacity from 2016 to 2022; and a faculty member from 2015 to 2024. Her degrees include B.A. English, LL.B., MSc Psychology, MSc Media and Communication and PhD Media and Communication. She served in the Supervisory Council of the Yemisi Shyllon Museum from 2019-2023, and the University's Health and Wellness Team in 2022, both at Pan-Atlantic University. Her research interests include the intersection of culture and civilisation in human development. She is passionate about the well-being and the future of young people, women and families.Perekunah Bright Eregha is a Professor of Economics at Pan-Atlantic University and currently an Economic Adviser to the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.He is also an International Research Fellow with the University of Economics, Vietnam, and a former visiting Professor at CPEEL, University of Ibadan. He is also a current editorial board member at BOI. Prior to joining Pan-Atlantic University, Prof Eregha was at different times a Senior Lecturer at the University of Lagos and Senior Economist at the NDIC, Abuja. He was a former visiting scholar to both AfDB and IMF headquarters and has presented papers to the CBN Executive seminar at different times.Tunde Decker is a Professor of African Social History and Everyday Life in the Department of History and International Studies, Osun State University, Osogbo, Nigeria. He is also Dean, Faculty of Humanities, Osun State University. His research has been funded by the Leventis Foundation, the Africa-Oxford Initiative, the Urban Studies Foundation, the American Council of Learned Societies African Humanities Program, theGraduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and the University of Chana. He was at different times a Visiting Scholar at Oxford University, University of Birmingham, the SOAS University of London, Cambridge University, the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and the University of Ghana.
