This book is focused towards the study of 'financial inclusion' status in Faridabad District with special reference to the rural population. As inclusion is an important concept in terms of overall economic development, it requires higher attention of researchers. Status of inclusion is different in different states, districts or cities depending upon the social, economic and demographic profile of the population. The study was undertaken to understand the status on demand side and supply side along with the challenges faced by banks on supply side. The findings of the research would be of greater importance to government, RBI, banks, policy makers and to the end user as well. This would clearly depict the strong and weak areas of inclusion in the district. On the basis of weak areas, steps for improvement of status could be applied.
