Sweet Girl and Not Alone

In the morning, the treating doctor came to Osnat and Avner and told them they had a sweet girl. Avner smiled and replied that indeed she was a nice, good, and wonderful girl. At that point, however, the doctor clarified that Smadar had been diagnosed with juvenile diabetes - a condition that would accompany her throughout her life. 'While there is no cure for this illness, it is certainly possible to maintain a normal daily routine.' Smadar was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at the age of six. This gives rise to the title of the book, "Sweet Girl and Not Alone." The book follows her development and achievements through every stage of life - from childhood to youth and adulthood - in full independence and without limitations, as she actively participates in the Scouts, volunteers for full military service, pursues university studies, builds a family, and advances to senior positions in the banking system.
