Sweet Nothings

My work and my family are my life. We've built my bakery, Sand and Sprinkles, from the ground up. I've poured blood, sweat, and tears to make myself a fixture on the boardwalk of Bethany Beach. I'm proud of what we've accomplished.But another summer brings another entitled CEO to our little beach. His audacious house and expensive cars are a mar, not an improvement. But this rich jerk is trying to prove he is anything but. Unfortunately for me, he's not so bad to look at either. My gut tells me he's too good to be true, but my heart whispers another truth.
