Swooning for The Sandman

Melody Lakes has the power of psychometry: she can read someone's past just by touching an item of their's. She's gotten the skill under control over the years but when she accidentally touches a strange man's cufflink when he comes into her diner she realizes he's a monster hunter who's come to The Hollow looking for Arletta Harrington. But it looks like he and his fellow monster hunters are willing to take out any other paranormal being that gets in their way, putting Melody, her grandmother, and her best friends' lives in danger.And on top of everything a strange, alluring shadow has been following her in her dreams and in the waking world. One night after a vivid dream she wakes to see the shadow lurking in her room and taking the shape of a man. But that can't be possible, the Sandman is just a myth...right?
