Bol This book presents the Theory of Symbolization and Pure Mathematics Education (TSEMP) as a theoretical and didactic proposal aimed at recovering the formal, axiomatic and symbolic core of mathematics education. In contrast to the predominance of utilitarian and excessively contextualized approaches, TSEMP argues that authentic mathematical education is based on the internalization of symbolic language, the understanding of formal structures and the systematic practice of demonstration as a central intellectual activity. From a formalist-structural epistemological perspective, mathematics is conceived as an autonomous system of signs and relations, whose validity is based on its internal coherence and not on its immediate applicability. Ontologically, mathematical objects are understood as epistemic entities defined by their place within a formal system, and not as mere instrumental tools.Throughout the work, the guiding principles of TSEMP - primacy of form, symbolic rigor, axiomatization and centrality of demonstration - are developed, as well as a didactic proposal coherent with these foundations.
