SYNTHESIS, PROPERTIES AND APPLICATIONS OF VINYL ESTERS

The monograph summarizes the results of research on the synthesis of vinyl esters of carboxylic acids, which belong to one of the important classes of organic compounds. It consists of an introduction, four chapters, and a list of references. The first chapter, entitled New Directions in Acetylene Chemistry: Ethynylation and Vinylation Reactions, reviews and analyzes foreign and local literature on the topic. The collected data are systematized, and scientific-analytical conclusions are drawn.The second chapter is devoted to the experimental part. It describes methods for synthesizing vinyl esters of carboxylic acids, information about the starting materials, and the methodology for synthesizing vinyl esters based on the homogeneous catalytic vinylation reactions of carboxylic acids. In addition, information is provided on the methods used to determine the structure of the synthesized vinyl compounds.The third chapter, Vinylation Reactions of Carboxylic Acids, presents the results and analysis of vinylation reactions of hydroxy acids and dibasic acids.
