Furious that Tara and the other magic users escaped, Heather has focused her revenge on those left behind at Camp Nowhere. The state of the camp has become more precarious. Heather and the townspeople post guards there day and night. They are watching and waiting for some reason to eliminate the camp. Their fate hanging in the balance, Dustin Jones must find a way to save everyone. In a desperate move, the camp people decide to flee. Only to be relentlessly pursued by Heather while the Seekers and Kartics race to bring them to safety. The solution they need takes all of them into the heart of the southern continent where they are confronted by an ancient evil thought to be extinct. Unprepared, the group flees for their lives, only to have the legacy of Dunborough end up in peril.
