This is a compilation of the complete works of Margaret Barnes Morrison. A passionate Scottish lady and resident of Spain, her short stories and poems seem to be a mirror reflecting her own hard and sometimes tragic life. The works comprise of short stories, poems and historical notes in tribute to her love of Scotland, its heroes and Spain, the Country where she spent her last days. In many of the stories, narrated in an old Scottish dialect, Margaret captures perfectly seventeenth, eighteenth century life in Edinburgh. In other stories her training in law gives rise to her leaning to natural justice whilst retaining her own cheeky sense of humour.
