This book covers political issues in Tanzania that were carried out in the first week of March 2026 and before that. The ruling party, CCM, sees contiinuity, stability and cohesion as sources of legitimacy while the opposition contests those variables as historical entitlements that have created few beneficiaries whie condemning majority into massive poverty. The authorities have turned into security forces to maintain peace and stabilty. This has come at huge costs to the social contract between CCM and the citizens.
