Taw Paya Galay Aung Zay (30 July 1926 - 18 June 2006) was a Burmese novelist and politician. He was grandson of King Thibaw. He was born on 30 July 1926, son of Ko Ko Naing and Lady Hteik Su Myat Paya Galay who was the fourth daughter of King Thibaw and Chief Queen Supayalat. He studied at Burma Buddhist School in Mawlamyaing. He failed his 1946 maticulation examination.
