It aims to present readers and researchers in mathematics education with some theoretical and methodological contributions of reference for conducting studies and research related to teacher training. The aim was to investigate and understand teachers' beliefs, actions and reflections in mathematics teaching. Based on this investigation, we identified relevant aspects that can interfere with the teaching process, such as lack of dialogue, inadequate teacher training, and failure to recognise the emotions and feelings that interfere with the process of teaching and learning mathematics.
