Teacher Training in Foreign Additional Languages: Multiple Perspectives

Another book organized by the research group "Teacher Training in Foreign Languages." This new work, "Teacher Training in Foreign/Additional Languages: Multiple Perspectives," brings together eleven academic papers that deal with studies on various languages and their uses in teaching and learning contexts. The perspectives recorded here cover topics ranging from the use of nonverbal language to media and technological nuances in foreign/additional language classes. With the main objective of presenting research that fosters theoretical and reflective discussions for students, student teachers, and language teachers (mainly, but not exclusively, English and Spanish), the chapters in this collection are divided into two sections: (1) English Language Teacher Training and (2) Spanish Language Teacher Training. The paths followed by each of these authors are based either on the curricular component of Supervised Internship or on studies of various topics such as Beliefs, Translation, Arts, New Technologies, Playfulness, and nonverbal language.
