the Abiding Tree: A Parable for Weary

The Abiding Tree is a modern parable of endurance, renewal, and rest. An encouraging story for anyone who has spent their strength on others-and deserves to be reminded that life can still hold abundance for them. The story is for anyone who has ever felt depleted, unseen, or worn thin. Through gentle storytelling, Scripture, and luminous illustrations, it reminds us that true fruitfulness is not found in striving, but in abiding.Written especially for caregivers, providers, problem solvers, and those who quietly carry the needs of others, The Abiding Tree offers a Christ-centered reminder that human strength is finite, but the source from which we draw does not have to be.Inspired by Jesus' words in John 15, this illustrated parable invites readers to stop trying to manufacture an endless supply of strength and instead rediscover rest, renewal, and fruitfulness through abiding in Christ.A thoughtful gift for someone running on empty, caring for others, or walking through a dry season.Gold Medallion Winner, 2026 Fiction/All Ages, Christian Book Awards
