The Architectural History of Al-Madrasa Al-ʿĀsūrīya

The central question addressed in this book is to understand the original state and historical evolution of Al-Madr¿sa Al-¿¿¿¿r¿ya. To address this question, the first section examines its architectural evolution, consisting of an architectural study that presents an overview of the structure and an analysis of its floor plan. The second section addresses structural aspects, comprising a study of construction materials, techniques, and load-bearing elements. The third section examines aesthetic and decorative aspects, based on two themes: floral and geometric. The fourth section consists of a documentary analysis divided into two parts: one focusing on the analysis of the hubus and the other on the restoration of the monument.
