The Avian Age Whiterock

A few hundred years in the future, humanity is gone and birds reign over the remnants of our civilization. Before our departure, through genetic manipulation and experiments in animal learning, we imbued our sapience, intellect, and language upon a select number of bird species known as the "Awakened." They were meant to be spies and laborers, but without our artificial checks and balance, they multiplied and spread, gleaned our knowledge and built their civilization upon the ruins of ours. They went through tumultuous times, growing pains on the path to forming their own society where the strengths of their diverse species could benefit all. Follow along as Sashya, a barn owl, and Pepro, a bald eagle, venture forth to Whiterock, an enormous bird city full of promise and problems, to obtain gold needed for a pair of royal bonding rings. Their goal is simple, but circumstances are not, and they'll need each other, and their friends, with their diversity of talents, to prevail and preserve their nation.
