The Big Questions of Science

Of all the species that live on this planet, as far as we know, man is the only one capable of awareness; observing the sky, understanding its beauty, and asking questions about the meaning of life and that of death, on the beginning and the end, both about the Universe and man himself. The questions range in all directions: why is there something instead of nothing? Who is the architect of reality, and why does it appear to us as it does, rather than in some other way? What's the point of all this? Where does life originate, and what are the origins of the Universe that encompasses it? This book aims to introduce and address the questions that are often asked and answer with the knowledge that science provides us. Where does all the matter we are made of come from and what constitutes the Universe?
