THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL-VOLUME 2 >Let the Healing Waters Keep Flowing Volume 1 of The Book of Ezekiel: Prayers Day and Night began with Ezekiel among the captives by the river Chebar. His surroundings testified of captivity, displacement, national judgment, and loss. Yet heaven opened. Ezekiel 1:1 (KJV) "...the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God." That truth established our first prayer journey: difficult circumstances cannot prevent God from revealing His glory. Through the first twenty-five days, we prayed through Ezekiel's calling, the watchman, obedience, repentance, personal responsibility, the Shepherd, God's holy name, cleansing, the new heart, the new spirit, the valley of dry bones, restoration, worship, God's glory, and finally the river flowing from the sanctuary. Volume 1 deliberately moved through three great spiritual movements: Encounter. Transformation. Restoration. Now Volume 2 continues the journey. We are not returning to the beginning. We are going deeper. The water is flowing. The question becomes: What will the water touch? What happens when God's life reaches a dry place? What happens when healing reaches a wounded place? What happens when the Word reaches a resistant heart? What happens when the Spirit of God reaches a life that has become spiritually weary? What happens when restoration becomes more than something we pray to receive and becomes something God allows to flow through us toward others? Ezekiel gives us a magnificent picture: Ezekiel 47:9 (KJV) "...every thing shall live whither the river cometh." >
