the CALICO GUARDIAN: Cat That Saved Galaxy

A traumatized patrol pilot. A mysterious calico cat. An alien empire terrified of her purr. Lieutenant Striker Qualls was supposed to be on a quiet deep-space patrol-just him, an aging scout ship, and Myriad, the calico "emotional support animal" Fleet Medical insisted would help him recover from the disaster that took his crew. Then a living wormhole opens in forbidden space. On the other side waits the Vhalari Dominion: an exiled alien armada returning with conquest in mind. Their weapons dwarf Striker's ship. Their warships surround him. Their commanders demand surrender. And then Myriad hisses. >The Calico Guardian is a fast-paced science fiction adventure filled with cosmic mystery, dry humor, alien empires, found family, ancient secrets, and one very unimpressed cat. Perfect for readers who enjoy character-driven space opera, military sci-fi with heart, reluctant heroes, mysterious alien mythology, and animal companions who may secretly outrank everyone.
