The Cathedral

Alaric came to the Cathedral looking for answers. He didn't expect a job, a new circle of friends-or Richard. Brilliant, controlling, infuriating, yet magnetic, Richard has an unnerving talent for getting inside Alaric's head. He also makes music unlike anything Alaric has ever heard and speaks of it as though it were alive. But there are darker secrets within the Cathedral. A dead woman. A revered prophet. A secret tunnel. A story that doesn't add up. As Alaric digs deeper, he begins to wonder whether the religion built around the Redeemer is worth fighting for-and whether the people he has come to trust are telling him the truth. Because finding the truth is one thing. Living with it is another. And somewhere between suspicion and friendship, accusation and grace, Alaric faces a far more unsettling question: What if the man he is trying to expose is the man he has begun to love? "People may be frauds. But the Redeemer is not." Dark Sun, Black Moon: The Cathedral is a character-driven story of faith, deception, music, friendship, and the complicated distance between justice and grace.
