In this study, we conceive the knowledge acquired in the practical process of incubating workers' solidarity-based economic enterprises as praxis that involves a complex set of technical and social activities, interacting with theoretical and conceptual knowledge, guided by objectives. It is, therefore, an educational pedagogical process that must be creative, collective and capable of changing reality. We adopt the concept that knowledge is a relationship between subject and object and also that the relationship with the world is not individual and immutable, but collective and social. Based on empirical research, this doctoral thesis analyses the intrinsic limits of the process of knowledge construction through educational action between advisors (educators) and cooperative workers (students) in the practice of incubating solidarity-based economic enterprises (EES). The results showed that this is an educational process that changes circumstances and the way men and women are and act, despite the difficulties on both sides, but the construction and reconstruction of knowledge in various aspects is undeniable.
