The Complete Pastor: Six Competencies for Faithful Pastoral Ministry

The pastor is to be a shepherd for the congregation. They are to care for and protect the flock under their care. Just like a fence around a sheep pen may be higher or lower in places, it cannot have gaps. In your ministry, you need to make sure there are no gaps in your ministry skills. You may excel at some and be average in others, but you need to be well-rounded. This book will help you identify the primary competencies needed for ministry and how to grow in those ministry skills. This is for pastors, those preparing for ministry, those training new pastors, and pastoral search committees trying to identify a complete pastor. There are six primary competencies that are needed to be a complete P.A.S.T.O.R., and everything will be in one of these categories.
